Pacific Club is delighted to welcome Alessandro Mori, the celebrated master winemaker behind Il Marroneto, for an intimate evening dedicated to one of Montalcinoā€™s most respected traditional wine estates.

Founded by the Mori family in 1974, Il Marroneto is renowned for producing elegant, expressive Sangiovese wines distinguished by purity, finesse and an unmistakable sense of place.

Hosted personally by Alessandro Mori, the evening will take guests on a journey through five exceptional winesā€”from the vibrant character of Rosso di Montalcino to two vintages of Brunello, culminating in the estateā€™s acclaimedĀ Madonna delle Grazie 2021.

Each wine will be thoughtfully paired with Xi Yanā€™s specially curated six-course seasonal menu, created to complement the progression and character of the wines.

Hi, Iā€™m Bosco, and I love whisky. To me, the creation of Scotch whisky is a form of art. It offers many variations like the use of cognac, double oak or even wine casks to create its own unique flavour, further shaped by the distinct regions of the world they come from. The final product of all these elements is the perfect whisky to match any mood or emotion! Here at Pacific Club, we have the largest independent bottling service in Singapore, as such, I have access to a large array of whiskies that I use to create pairings with food. Like matching smokey local Bakkwa to a Scottish Hepburnā€™s Choice Talisker 9, I go through a rigorous, yet well-thought process of finding appropriate foods that compliment the notes of our whiskies. The creation of whisky is dynamic and always changing as the years go on, Iā€™m just trying to keep up!
