Ian Millar - MASTER DISTILLER’S NOTES:
“Maturation has mostly been in American oak hence the lovely sweet toffee caramel flavour with light hints of fruitiness. Then there’s the pure Shetland Water that brings it to bottle strength. It’s a very smooth Whisky due to its age. We’re absolutely delighted with it. Those who’ve experienced it agree that it’s no ordinary Blended Scotch.”

NOSE:
Mellow vanilla, toffee and caramel notes with hints of fruitiness, reminiscent of toffee apples, all very typical from American white oak.

PALATE:
Smooth with a creamy texture and a perfect balance of mellow vanilla, light dried fruits, and hints of citrus.

FINISH:
Medium length, delicate but lingering finish, lovely warm mouthfeel.
